Worst blogger in the world!

What kind of a blog is this if there's nothing in it?

A lot has happened since August. As it turns out Adam loves school which is great - but mindblowing. At the risk of sounding like a war veteran and using phrases like "...in my day..." I cannot believe how quickly kids learn these days and how much they are taught at school at such an early age. He is forming and writing words himself, loves numbers and was gutted when he was off school sick last week.

On the downside he is getting more and more self aware and can be very vocal in telling you what he wants and doesn't want. I am please to report that we do not smack him (although Glenn and I aren't against it) and prefer to reason with him - he's a smart cookie and if he's not just tired he is reasonable.

The back end of last year was not so good. We sadly lost our dog Jess after her recovering from a near ruptured spleen in July. We were told then she had cancer and the Vet had removed some tumours when she had her spleen op. Still we never expected to lose her so soon and we still miss her terribly.

Mum and Dad have both been off work sick at various times and my aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer which thankfully seems to have all been removed.

New Year and new starts...I am now 17 weeks pregnant with our second baby! Just when you think things are starting to form a routine life changes. I don't think we realise quite what we are letting ourselves in for but I am really hopeful for this year.

New Years Resolution: To get and keep in touch with old and new friends and family again...

Happy New Year Everyone! x
